My First Nursing Supplies!

Last night, one of my cute neighbors, Janie Ford, gave my my first nursing supplies! She is so adorable and has been such a blessing! She told me that whenever I get discouraged in nursing school to call her. She said first she'd empathize with me, then she'd kick my rear and tell me to get back to work. I love her so much! Janie is an AirMed Nurse. She is incredible! A few months ago, she took me on a tour of the University Hospital. We saw the emergency room, the burn unit, and to the helicopter pad. She let me sit in the front seat. She is the greatest!

During my last semester of high school, I got to do an internship at Huntsman Cancer Hospital. I loved loved loved it!! At first, I thought I'd struggle working with such sick people. It turns out that it was the best thing I ever did. The patients were so strong. They had so much hope and fight for life. I felt privileged to help them. My bad days couldn't even compare to their bad days. I wanted to do everything I could to make their day a little bit better. I love the thought of being an oncology nurse, but we'll see where the next few years take me!

The Start Of My Summer!

The beginning of my summer has been filled with very fun days!

-My neighbor Kamille Odom and I had a girl's night out! We drove in the convertible blasting to songs from Legally Blonde and ate Orange Leaf, her favorite place! She wore my sunglasses and pretended to be a celebrity.

-I traveled to South Africa with my family to see the World Cup and a safari. It was incredible!

-I put together a cute chair for my mom which took a lot longer than I thought it would!

-I found a new hobby of mine. I love to garden! Today I planted strawberries! I hope they grow.

-My little brother Logan and I went on a little date. We went to his favorite place which is Panda Express then I surprised him with hawaiian ice. He had to close his eyes the whole time. He pulled out my chair and threw away my plate! So adorable!

-We got cute pictures with Cooper in the Mini Cooper!
